These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the TriState Nannies, LLC website and services. By accessing our website or booking services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Company Overview

TriState Nannies, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides professional, non-medical childcare and nanny services for weddings, private events, and special occasions throughout the tri-state area (New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut).

All services are subject to availability and written confirmation.

2. Nature of Services

Our services include on-site, non-medical childcare supervision during events.

We do not provide:

  • Medical care

  • Therapeutic services

  • Licensed educational services

  • Specialized medical supervision

Parents or legal guardians remain ultimately responsible for their children at all times.

3. Booking & Payment

  • A confirmed booking requires written agreement and payment terms as outlined in the service proposal.

  • Final pricing depends on event duration, number of children, staffing requirements, and location.

  • Additional time beyond contracted hours may incur additional charges.

  • Payment terms will be outlined in the service agreement or invoice.

Failure to remit payment as agreed may result in cancellation of services.

4. Cancellations & Modifications

Cancellations must be made in writing.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the event may be subject to fees.

  • Changes to guest count, location, or event duration may require staffing adjustments and pricing modifications.

  • The Company reserves the right to cancel services in the event of unsafe conditions, misrepresentation of event details, or circumstances beyond our control.

5. Supervision & Safety

  • Parents or guardians must provide accurate information regarding children’s ages, allergies, medical conditions, and special needs.

  • The Company reserves the right to decline services if critical safety information is withheld.

  • Children must remain within designated childcare areas unless otherwise agreed.

  • Parents or guardians must remain reachable during the event.

6. Liability

TriState Nannies, LLC provides professional childcare supervision; however:

  • The Company is not liable for injuries resulting from undisclosed medical conditions or behavioral concerns.

  • The Company is not responsible for pre-existing conditions or incidents occurring outside of designated childcare supervision areas.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability shall be limited to the total amount paid for the specific event services.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

7. Photo & Media Policy

No photographs, videos, or recordings of children will be taken by Company staff without prior written consent from a legal guardian.

Clients and guests are responsible for obtaining their own permissions if photography includes caregivers or childcare areas.

8. Conduct Expectations

We reserve the right to terminate services immediately if:

  • Unsafe conditions arise

  • Aggressive or inappropriate behavior occurs

  • Alcohol or controlled substances impair supervision

  • Venue conditions present hazards

In such cases, refunds may not be issued.

9. Independent Contractors

Caregivers may be engaged as independent contractors. All caregivers are vetted and qualified; however, they are not employees of the client.

10. Confidentiality

All client and event information is treated as confidential and will not be shared except as necessary to provide services or as required by law.

11. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, logos, and materials are the property of TriState Nannies, LLC and may not be copied or reproduced without written consent.

12. Website Use

Users agree not to:

  • Use the website for unlawful purposes

  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems

  • Submit false or misleading information

We reserve the right to restrict access for misuse.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in New Jersey.

15. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
